The bio
Didn’t take the traditional route.
Clearly.
Dustin Runyon is a business and leadership coach and the founder of APX Real Estate Group, projecting more than $300 million in sales in 2026. He also co-founded development company APX West, which has raised over $150 million. His work is built on one idea: grow the leader, grow the company.
Dustin Runyon graduated high school with a 1.6 GPA, dropped out of two colleges, and at 20 answered a Craigslist ad that put him in Phoenix real estate. He and his first mentor closed 250 short sales in four years.
Back home in Lake Havasu City, he went from “the technology guy” to team leader at Keller Williams, helping grow the organization from 38 agents to more than 200 across three locations and over $650 million in sales. A single John Wooden book sparked an obsession: 52 books in 52 weeks, and one question he still asks: why do people have the tools to succeed and still struggle?
In 2018 he sold his house and his car to launch APX Real Estate Group with five agents. In 2020 he co-founded APX West with high school friend Andrew Oxley. Today he coaches entrepreneurs and team leaders across five areas: leadership, psychology, systems, strategy and personal development.
His mission: to change and impact lives through the vehicle of real estate.
